Bryan vs Lesnar: Perfect Pro Wrestling
For the longest time, I couldn’t put my adoration for Daniel Bryan vs Brock Lesnar into the right words without fragmented rambling. All I knew for certain was that this match is absolutely astounding on so many levels. Two of the greatest minds in pro wrestling history collide for one of the best matches I’ve ever seen. First, however, it’s important to have a little context:
Daniel Bryan was coming off of a recent heel turn and WWE championship win against AJ Styles, where Bryan low-blows Styles to seal the victory. Bryan heads into this match with a new mindset and attitude, steering away from the chipper underdog that fans had grown to love and adore for so long. Brock Lesnar is, of course, still Brock Lesnar, arguably the most dominant wrestler in WWE history and then WWE Universal champion. He’s representing Raw in the yearly Survivor Series supremacy battle against Smackdown’s Daniel Bryan for their respective brand’s bragging rights in a Champion vs Champion match.
